The fall has been incredible so far. Comfortably warm weather, sunshine and leaves falling. It’s that time of year where it’s too warm for a jacket yet too cold not have a little something. Enter the early fall uniform you need to wear: a fun top with a cardigan and skinny jeans. Paired with fall colored flats, such as these olive ones, you are all set.
I’ve been a huge fan of the Who What Wear Target Collection ever since it came out a few years ago. Each new release is right on trend and I love getting a few trendier pieces at an affordable price when I’m not sure how it will suit me. This blue printed top spoke to me with its fun front detailing (and it’s only $23!). I’m not one to wear too much ruffles but the high neck definitely spoke my language.
While this Zara cardigan is SUPER old (last seen here), I still love it. It’s a complete staple in my wardrobe and the beige color works with a lot of different tops. I’m currently eyeing up this cardigan from Madewell because it comes it tons of different colors and is so soft.
To complete the early fall uniform, we need some skinny jeans. I’ve spoken about these Frame Denim jeans before and I simply love their fit. Alternatively, I picked up this Hudson version from Nordstrom and I love it’s high rise fit just as much. For shoes I try to switch it up and not wear black all the time, ha! These olive suede ballerinas from Tommy Hilfiger (similar here) are SEVERAL years old. But they have held up incredibly well as I only wear them on dry days. No rain for me, please!
And of course I don’t leave the house with my trusted Tory Burch cross body. I picked this up at the outlet mall in Clarksburg and definitely need to plan a trip back there soon for the new season. Do you have an early fall uniform that you swear by? I’m looking forward to coat weather but until then, I’m team cardigan all the way.
