Giving Glossier Some Love Again

Earlier this year I placed my third (ever) Glossier order. I needed more boy brow because it’s my favorite brow gel and they’ve launched new products since my last purchase. The generation g matte lipsticks and liquid blush cloud paints both sounded very intriguing to me so I ordered one of each.

Generation g is advertised a sheer, matte and buildable lipstick. Since I knew it’d be quite sheer, I wanted to go with a brighter color that would show up strong. Glossier generation g crush is exactly what I was looking for. It’s a bright raspberry pink that applies effortlessly. I swipe it on a few times to get my desired pigmentation and am out the door in no time. If you like uncomplicated matte lipsticks, you NEED this in your life. I’m already planning my next order to get more colors.

I was a little nervous about cloud paint as liquid blush can go wrong real fast. I got the shade dusk to give me some warmth. I either use it as a blush but it’s also lovely as a contour. It’s subtle, blends out like A DREAM and my fair skin only needs the tiniest amount. I have a feeling this will be my go to this summer.

I’m getting my last few squeezes out of balm dot com and look forward to getting the original scent. The coconut is good but the scent is a little overpowering for me. In my next order specifically, I’m looking to order generation g in the shade zip (a poppy red) and cloud paint in beam (a coral peach). Have you given Glossier a try? Do you have any recommendations for me?
