For the love of face mists! I really don’t understand why people don’t use them more often. I really don’t! They’re super refreshing, make my skin feel – and smell – amazing, they can set my makeup, take off excess powder, give me a dewy finish, add hydration… I could go on and on.
I don’t know how this happened but I realized this week that I have five different face mists. It started out with one of my all time favorites, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. Such a princess product but I love it because it reminds me of a spa. I dust it on my face and instantly feel like I’m sitting in a relaxation room. You know the one where the lights are dimmed, I’m sitting in a fluffy robe and reading the latest Vogue magazine? Yeah it’s a great spray…
Then I got my mandatory makeup setting spray – the Maybelline Master Fix Setting Spray. It’s an affordable drugstore option as I can’t justify spending the extra money on the Urban Decay setting spray when this one works just as well.
And of course I have to mention my beloved Lush Breath of Fresh Air Toner! I’ve got a separate blog post on it right here and you bet I’m packing this for my beach vacation. I spritz this on in the mornings and evenings to add extra hydration.
I’ve got two new face mists in my collection which I’m very excited about. The first one is the Honest Beauty Elevated Hydration Spray which I used in my Everyday Makeup Routine Video. It’s a lighter scented version of the Caudalie Beauty Elixir and is a great portable size for my handbag.
Last but not least there’s the Herbivore Botanicals Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Face Mist. I have been DYING to try this because I’ve seen it mentioned everywhere – from Allure Magazine, Twitter, Vogue, you name it! Herbivore Botanicals is a brand that I’m very curious to get into because it’s a natural plant based beauty brand! The face mist has a heavenly scent and is the ideal afternoon pick me up spray.
You see, I have a facial spray for every possible life situation. Call me crazy but it’s the easiest way to feel refreshed when you’re face looks otherwise. How do you feel about face mists? Use them, hate them?
