Friday Favorites Vol. 5

As I was getting ready for bed last night, I told Greg that I’m really happy wit how 2018 has been going so far. I know it’s only the second week of the year but even so, I have been in a good rhythm. It largely has to do with how impactful my planner has been on my daily routine. I just can’t overemphasize how wonderful it is! With the weekend upon us, I wanted to highlight a few other things that I have been L-O-V-I-N-G in this week’s Friday Favorites roundup:

Flannel PJ’s: It’s been below freezing for the majority of 2018 and I have been living in these cozy PJ’s. They are true to size (I have a medium), ridiculously soft AND currently on sale. They’re comfortable to sleep in and great for lounging around the house. I’m tempted to get a second pair.

Noise Cancelling Headphones: I’ve had them for years and they’re one of my favorite things to use. They block out any noise and help me focus when I’m trying to get work done. Although I could blast music without headphones at home, I like wearing them. They make me internalize what I’m listening to and help me be truly in the zone.

Grit by Angela Duckworth: I started reading this book on New Years Day and it’s both fascinating and inspirational. I couldn’t have asked for a better first book to read on my quest to 20 books this year. It talks about passion and perseverance and explores how they relate to one another. I highly recommend it if you’re into psychology related books.

R&Co. Dry Shampoo: This is the dry shampoo I’ve been using for the last several months. I love it because it comes out clear and doesn’t leave a white cast behind on my hair. I only need to apply a little bit because it absorbs quickly and gives my hair a nice and firm grip. It’s perfect to apply in between hair washes and doesn’t have an overpowering scent.

Have a great weekend friends!
