Yes you read that right, I’m all healed up! Okay according to my doctor I’m “technically” healed and shouldn’t run for the next few weeks – but! I’m healed and out of my heavy boot. You don’t understand how nice it feels to wear matching shoes again and not have to limp walk…
Now that I’m out of the woods I’ve stepped up my Pilates game again and am also looking at getting back into Zumba. Since I can’t run I need another form of cardio and I used to Zumba every week before I committed myself to running. I have two places in my area that I’m going to check out this month and I’ll see which instructors I like better. Because it’s ALL about the instructors with Zumba, trust me.
I’ve also gotten back into reading Cameron Diaz’ The Body Book as it reminds me more of a textbook rather than a celebrity sharing their fitness journey. It explains how the body works, what’s good for it and how you can incorporate different things into your life. It’s not a book that you read from beginning to finish but rather flip through a specific topic and come back to it later.
This past weekend was absolutely beautiful and it makes me really excited for spring! After being couch ridden with an injury I’m all about being outside and breathing in that crisp spring air. What are your fitness plans for March?
