I was honestly skeptical when I tried the Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer for the first time. I didn’t buy into the premise of applying a lotion on to wet skin and think that that would suffice. Me and my dry skin have been through plenty of lotions over the years and I always cream my body in after the shower. ALWAYS.
I tried this a few weeks ago and did exactly as the instructions say: Apply it on to the wet skin and pat it dry with a towel – not rub. It instantly absorbed into my skin and allowed me to take advantage of that peak moisture moment when you’re skin is most receptive to hydration.
Right away I felt my skin being soft and moisturized and couldn’t believe how good it felt. I’ve tried other wet skin moisturizers in the past that didn’t do anything for me and thought this would just be another one of them. But to my surprise this stuff actually works! And the Monoi Oil scent smells amazing, so fresh and invigorating…
If you’re someone who never moisturizes after the shower this might be a great option for you because it’s fast and takes out that extra step after the shower. I already know I’m going to love it on those hot summer days where I can’t be bothered. What do you think about wet skin moisturizers? Have you given it a chance or are you as reluctant as I was?
