I don’t have a lot of of print in my wardrobe, let alone animal print. I stayed away from it for a long time because I didn’t know how to wear it in a non flashy way. Plus I didn’t think it’d match my personality. But I realized as long as I pair print with solid colors, I too could pull of a little wild animal print. I discovered these leopard print slip ons a few years ago and love how they add a level of excitement to any outfit. I like wearing them with these black pants or my favorite jeans. I pair the whole deal with this side slit tank and this cardigan – it’s still “winter” after all. The shoes are really comfortable as the sole is very supportive (broken foot problems) and fits true to size.
I’ve been going to a lot of coffee shops lately and this tall leather tote has been my go-to for all my belongings. It fits my laptop, notebook, you name it! The stone color complements without distracting and makes the gold initials stand out a little more. The leather is super soft yet sturdy enough to hold some weight.
My closet mainly consists of solid colored items and even though I love my neutral color scheme, I know I have to branch out more. These leopard print slip ons are a step in the right direction – literally, ha! – and I’m opening myself up to new styles. Is there a clothing trend that you’re kind of curious to try? Who knows, you may end up loving it…You never know until you give it a chance!
