I recently came across the Origins Mask Pods and knew I had to share them with you. Apart from the fact that they’re amazing for your skin, they’re super convenient for traveling! From yesterday’s post you’ll know I’m currently in California and especially when you’re in an airplane your skin needs that extra attention. Water certainly helps your skin but nothing calms your skin down like a good face mask.
Even if you’re not traveling these Origins Mask Pods are a genius product. What if you don’t want to spend the money on a full size tube and would rather try out a smaller size to see how your skin will react to it? These mask pods are the answer to your problem.
I tried out two different types of masks and I got two uses out of each one. The first one I tried was the Out Of Trouble 10 Minute Mask To The Rescue Problem Skin. This one is specifically formulated to get rid of dead skin cells and any debris that has accumulated. It feels very refreshing on the skin because it has that menthol smell and tingles a little bit. I left it on for 10 minutes and washed it off afterwards. My skin instantly felt so soft and clean as it really got into all of my pores. I highly recommend this mask if you have combination / oily skin or have blemishes to get rid of like me.
The second mask pod I tried is the Dr. Andrew Weil For Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Face Mask. This one sounded more up my alley as I have dry / sensitive skin and love treating it with a hydrating mask. This mask is a non-irritating redness reducing mask which is perfect for sensitive skin. It’s packed with mega mushrooms that act as anti-inflammatory agents while the marine algae and plant extracts are packed with hydrating properties. I left it it on overnight and my face felt like butter the next morning. So soft and plumped!
I really enjoyed using both of these because it gave me the chance to treat my skin without having to slug around two big tubes of face mask. They’re also ideal if you’re wanting to multi mask and treat certain areas of your face with different products. How do you treat your skin when you’re on the go?
