October Beauty Favorites

October Beauty FavoritesMy oh my, October is already coming to a close. It’s been an eventful month for me, from traveling to Germany to finalizing a new place to live (yes, I’m moving!). For this months October beauty favorites I reached for tried and trusted products that are no fuss and easy to apply. I was really busy this month so I didn’t really have time to try out a bunch of new products.

MAC Lingering Eyebrow Pencil: We both know I can’t live without my eyebrows (hence this post right here). This pencil is super precise, easy to travel with and fast. I fill in my brows within a few seconds and am right out the door.

Armani Eyes To Kill: I’m pretty sure this mascara is on it’s last leg and I will probably toss it at the end of next month. But until then I’m using this – rather expensive – baby until it’s last drop. This is a fantastic mascara that lifts my lashes, gives them serious volume with an intense black coating. I also love the bristles on the wand as they get into every single lash. After using this solely for the past few weeks I can understand why it is so expensive. It’s a really good mascara.

October Beauty Favorites SideHourglass Blush Palette: When are you going to stop talking about these blushes you ask? Never. I will NEVER stop talking about these blushes. That’s when. But seriously, the quality and performance of the Hourglass blushes is out of this world. Finely milled, nicely pigmented and the best part, they last on your cheeks forever. Like, for real. This specific palette isn’t available anymore but they came out with this amazing new palette for the holiday season that I’m kind of drooling over. No judgement!

MAC Viva Glam V: This is my new go-to nude lipstick. Perfect for a business meeting, casual get together or running errands around town. I wear it in combination with the MAC Dervish lip pencil and am in lip heaven.

Haircare wise I’m still loving the Aveda Style Prep Smoother. The scent is not my favorite – I’m not a fan of minty scents – but it’s a really good heat protectant and makes my hair feel super smooth, aka frizz free.

That’s a wrap on my October beauty favorites! What were your beauty favorites from this past month? Did you discover something new or did you stick with your trustworthy products?
