I can’t believe I’m already writing up my September beauty favorites for you! This month flew by with lots of traveling, enjoying the crisper weather and GETTING A DOG! Yes, I got a dog. It’s very exciting and I’m a crazy dog lady now. But let me get back to business and focus on my September beauty favorites…
Naked Smokey Palette By Urban Decay: I’ve been wearing these eyeshadows any chance I got this past month. I did an in depth review on the palette here but in short, the shadows are highly pigmented and have an insane lasting power. I use the Eyeshadow Primer Potion on my lid before applying the eyeshadows and it helps with keeping everything in place. I highly recommend you looking into this palette because Urban Decay knows what they’re doing.
L’Oreal Paris Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray: There are a few drugstore setting sprays out there but this is the best one I’ve come across. As the name suggests, it sets your makeup and makes sure it doesn’t go anywhere throughout the day. I wore this to a wedding where there was tons of dancing and my makeup held up beautifully.
L’Oreal Paris Elnet Satin Hairspray: This is a love it or hate it kind of product. It’s a super fine hairspray that keeps my hair in place while not weighing it down. It does have a very distinct smell and I know that some people can’t stand it. I however grew up with this hairspray and actually really enjoy the scent. It’s a great everyday hairspray from the drugstore that doesn’t give you that crunched hair feeling. A winner in my book!
Signorina By Salvatore Ferragamo: Scents are always so difficult to describe! Aside of the fact that it smells amazing, it has jasmine notes with the sweetness of a panna cotta dessert. It’s quite elegant and I like wearing it when I go out at night. I currently have a small travel size one that I throw into my purse for the evening and am almost out of it!
That’s once again a wrap on my September beauty favorites! I’d love to hear what you’ve been loving this past month! Share in the comments below and let’s discuss!
