I love sending cards in the mail. In the age of email and Facebook walls, I still enjoy the good ole’ days of snail mail. Because I live “abroad” – i.e. far away from my childhood friends and family – I like taking the time to write a handwritten note and send some stationery love.
Greg jokes that I’ll be in a stationery store for hours so he’ll try and find a store he can go to in the meantime. He says the same thing about kiosks and magazine stores, hence this last post. But getting back with my stationery love, I really could spend hours reading cards at Paper Source or Papyrus. I also love a beautiful notebook and am usually too scared to start using it because I don’t want to ruin it with my hand writing. Tell me I’m not alone on this one, ha! For Christmas I received this gorgeous grey zodiac notebook and I love the gold rimmed paper with the matching pen. Cancer is my zodiac sign and I love the few characteristics written on the first page. It’s a nice reminder every time I open it up.
It’s always a good idea to have thank you cards on hand and these Rifle Paper Co. are one of my favorites. I’m a huge fan of Rifle Paper Co. and own a few prints, my current iPhone case and a weekly planner from them. Oh and my 2017 desk calendar. It’s so cute.
And then there are the general cards. I can use them for any occasion, from birthdays to thinking of you’s, they’ve got me covered. I fell in love with these Polaroid Love Notes as they really feel like polaroids in your hand. I liked that they’re a little different and give a fun feel.
My newest addition to my stationery love are these Kinfolk Weekend cards. Not going to lie, I’m probably not going to send them out. I fell in love with all the prints and would love to frame and hang them up in our house. I love that I can get lost in each print and it makes me happy looking at them. Do you have stationery that makes you feel that way? Or have you moved online with e-cards and digital notebooks?
